Production and Quality Control department

The Samarkand cigarette factory was built in 1997 according to a unique project and is equipped with the most modern equipment. The potential production volume of the factory is 20 billion cigarettes per year, its capacity allows to fully saturate the local market and supply neighboring countries with products of world quality. Our products are exported to Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan. Therefore, it is not surprising that the production department is the largest division of BAT Uzbekistan in terms of the number of employees, setting the pace for the entire company.

Highly qualified personnel, state-of-the-art equipment and coordinated work are the ingredients for successful production. Production is the heart of the company. The employees of the production department work closely with other departments: planning and logistics, quality assurance, and engineering.
