What happens after the submission of an application?

5 simple steps in a successful future

Online Testing

Our online tests are designed to eliminate bias. You will be asked to play a set of games that measure cognitive, social and behavioral characteristics. Behind-the-scenes algorithms help us see if you have some of the core traits we look for in our organization. The tests use AI and behavioral science to better understand your skills and potential and help us build more diverse teams.

Online Testing

Our main advice for this part of the process is to just be yourself. This is not a test to pass, it is a powerful tool to help you get to know yourself better and find a role for yourself.

Telephone and personal interviews

Our screening interviews are an effective way to share key information with us. We may ask you to be available for a phone interview or to answer some questions via recorded video. While phone interviews provide more opportunity for in-depth conversation, recorded interviews are faster and more convenient for you as a candidate. They allow you to choose when and where you want to interview. To help you prepare, our platform allows you to test lighting, sound and video before recording your actual answers.

Telephone and personal interviews

Prepare examples of our leadership competencies-our recruiters may ask you when you have demonstrated elements of our ethics. If you prepare some examples, it will be easier for you to answer at this point.

Ask your questions. Recruiter questions are a great chance to find out if we are a good fit for your expectations and ambitions.

Asessment Center

Our assessment center reflects the digital age we live in. It has been designed to show you the role in action, as well as helping you to see what changes you can make to your work. Gone are the days of paper and pencil - we look forward to seeing how you tackle a real immersive situation and achieve great results both as a group and individually.

Asessment Center

1. Demonstrate your own thinking and research - be sure to state your point of view and draw on the opinions of others. If there are facts and figures, use these to strengthen your point. If you have done your own research, this will also allow you to improve your answers and show the breadth and depth of your knowledge.

2. Use positive group behavior - when you participate in a group exercise, it can get heated. Keep in mind that this is an opportunity to win together.

3. Demonstrate your confidence - Assessors are often looking for signs of energy and interest. A confident presentation of yourself and your contribution can go a long way.

4. Speak slowly and clearly - when our nerves take over, we tend to speak faster, less clearly and in a more robotic way than usual. Take a breath after each sentence, this will force you to slow down and become more confident.

5. Prepare for questions - your assessor may want to know more about how you arrived at a particular conclusion. Do not let these questions confuse you. Anticipate the questions, breathe, and answer them.

Final Interview with the Head of department

Our personal interview helps you get to know us and we get to know you. The interview covers a wide range of topics and often refers to our leadership abilities to see if your needs match our offerings. It's a two-way street and a great chance to meet our leaders and ask questions to make sure we're the right choice for you.

Final Interview with the Head of department

1. Familiarize yourself with our leadership skills - there are many ways to show us that you are a Bold, FAST,RELIABLE, DIFFERENT and RESPONSIBLE candidate.

2. Prepare examples of how you have demonstrated these abilities - looking back on your experience, you have probably achieved excellent results. Even if you have limited work experience, you should have some interesting experiences to share.

3. Answer the questions using the STAR method - Situation, Task, Action, Result. By describing the situation you found yourself in, the task you were trying to accomplish, the action you took personally, and the result you obtained, you can be sure that your answer covers all the important points.

4. Do your research - visit our social media and our corporate website www.bat.com. There may be areas you would like to learn more about by meeting with our leaders. This also demonstrates your interest and commitment.

5. Prepare your own questions - Interviews can be challenging. If you have written down your questions, you won't have to think about them in the moment and you will appear prepared and confident.
